Zoho Community Intelligence — week of Jun 15, 2026

TL;DR: Zoho Community Intelligence — week of Jun 15, 2026

Last week’s Zoho Community activity splits cleanly between two kinds of friction: rough edges in products that builders depend on daily, and a quiet but steady expansion of automation and AI surfaces across the platform. Teams that ignore the rough edges will keep losing time to workarounds; teams that pay attention to the new surfaces can get ahead of competitors still doing things manually.

Zoho CRM Canvas Is Breaking — and the Community Is Feeling It

The most urgent signal this week is a widespread Canvas rendering regression. Icons are sprouting unwanted scroll bars, formula fields are squishing, and table padding differs between the editor and live views — a problem confirmed across multiple users and hundreds of views. As of 06/15/2026, Zoho is applying the datacenter-level fix.

Separately, a developer reported that multi-select picklist values can’t be displayed in a clean vertical list, exposing a longstanding layout limitation. If your team relies on Canvas for client-facing record views, audit your layouts now and document what “correct” looks like before a future release changes it again.

Zia Agents: Real Momentum, Real Gaps

The Zia Agents platform is attracting many Zoho consultants and DIYers, and the limitations are becoming visible fast. Two separate threads this week flag the same platform immaturity: PDF and file upload support is absent entirely, blocking the document-processing use cases that are among the most obvious AI wins, while the embedded ChatKit UI strips markdown formatting that renders correctly in the test environment — a gap that makes agents look broken when deployed on customer-facing sites. Zoho has acknowledged the markdown fix is coming within one to two weeks. For teams evaluating Zia Agents for production use: hold document-processing workflows until file upload is confirmed, and test any ChatKit embed against your actual markdown output before going live.

API Reliability Concerns: The Default Pipeline Bug

A reproducible API defect surfaced this week that deserves attention from any team with CRM integrations: the Deals pipeline endpoint returns a 204 No Content response when no custom pipeline exists, making the always-present Standard pipeline invisible to external systems. This silently breaks integrations on accounts that have never touched pipeline configuration — which is a large share of CRM users. If you maintain a CRM integration that reads pipeline data, add a defensive check for 204 responses and consider prompting end users to create at least one custom pipeline as a workaround until Zoho resolves the underlying behavior.

Automation Surfaces Expanding Across the Suite

Several platform updates this week point to Zoho broadening where automation can be attached. Zoho Webinar now supports multi-step workflow automation with triggers, conditions, and actions — bringing it closer to the workflow model familiar from CRM and Desk. Meanwhile, Zoho Desk’s GenAI setup documentation was refreshed to surface DeepSeek alongside Zia and ChatGPT as a supported model, giving support teams a third LLM option.

Integration and Cross-App Data Flow Friction

Two threads this week point to the same underlying challenge: getting data to flow cleanly between Zoho apps when the sync isn’t automatic. A user asked how to use Zoho Billing subscription data inside CRM workflows, which we answered directly in the Community.

The Creator Integration Field, updated this week, offers a model worth studying: it creates a live lookup to external Zoho apps directly inside a Creator form, avoiding data duplication. Teams building multi-app workflows should evaluate whether Creator’s integration field approach can replace some of the manual sync logic they’re currently maintaining in Deluge or Flow.

Watch next week for whether Zoho pushes a fix to the Canvas rendering regression — it’s the highest-visibility active bug in the community right now — and for any update on Zia Agents’ markdown rendering patch, which was promised within two weeks of this writing.
